Hello, My name is Mon Alejo.
Stepping away from the formal structure of a resume, I’d like to take advantage of this section to briefly introduce myself as best as I can via the internet. With that being said…
Welcome to monalejo.com!
“The creative adult is the child who survived”
-Ursula K. Leguin
Harnessing your creativity as a child into your projects as an adult can help push your success
in many ways. Before pursuing a degree in business, I had the opportunity to attend an art school
to pursue a degree in architecture and design. Now I can create creative strategies to push my
endeavors to its maximum potential. Creativity, in my opinion, plays a big role in business; it
produces originality. Adapt, have fun, and be creative.
Experience for me is a part of what contributes to success. In order to gain experience, a person must first put in the effort to take part in something, perhaps even considering a small risk. Whether you encounter success or failure, take every outcome as a lesson of what to do again [10x better], or what to avoid doing, at all costs.
From a professional standpoint, most of my experience has been in the field of sales and customer service. Introducing and selling a product while making certain that a client is being served to satisfaction has been built into my repertoire since day one. Luckily, I am not one to shy away from an opportunity to meet and speak to someone new.
In reference to my future, I have always had a broad idea of what I want to be. From adolescence to adulthood, I had one goal in mind; success. As general and open as the word “success” could be, it is very accurate and simple. Success can be found anywhere, as it is dependent on the seeker him[her]self. While it has no gauge, it can be determined by acceptance. “You deserve what you accept." (Dr. Virginia Green. PhD). As long as you accept the level of success you have obtained, you can be: satisfied, happy, joy-full, etc. As for me, I have not accepted success as of late, and that’s what motivates me to keep going.
Getting to where I am now, and going to where I want to be, I could never take full credit and say I’ve done it on my own. Directly and indirectly, it has been the individuals around me who push and inspire me. In giving back to my community, I decided to partner with a friend of mine a few years ago to create ALMONDS™. ALMONDS™ is a non-profit organization that raises necessities for those in need. It has been my passion as of late because while it teaches me to own a business structured organization, it also allows me to help the less fortunate and to never forget to be grateful for what I have myself.
I have many endeavors as a young entrepreneur and business man, and I have plans to succeed in them all while learning to turn myself into an investment and asset as well. To learn more about the topics I have briefly covered; please use the website as a guide to get to know more about me. The pages you have access to are; My Resume, my charity, my network in LinkedIn, my inspirations and Current Projects.
I hope I have succeeded in telling you a little more about myself and possibly opening up a door for a conversation. Feel free to contact me via email at anytime, and I will be sure to get back to you. Although I have not finished and succeeded, I am extremely proud in knowing that I have started. My advice to you; never forget the difference between being good and being great, the difference between first and second place, the difference between success and failure, The difference between 211 and 212 degrees.
"At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, it boils.
And with boiling water, comes steam. And with steam,
you can power a train"
The difference is that continued persistence, strength in motivation, indulgence in personal drive, the one degreeof exceeded effort in everything you take on. Thank you for taking the time to stop by, I look forward to shared success in the future!
